Patrice is a happily retired educator; author, consultant, counselor, entrepreneur, and community leader who utilizes her life experiences to help people of all ages reach their full potential. As a seasoned educator, Patrice taught in the Broward and Miami-Dade County Public School systems for close to two decades.
For several years, she served as a volunteer with the I AM Ministries of Miami-Dade and Broward County working with teen girls co-facilitating the “Divas Destined for Greatness” groups. In addition, she also co-facilitated a weekly women empowerment group called “The Women’s Empowerment Hour.” She is currently supporting People Serving Empowering Communities (PSEC).
In 2011, she was awarded “The Woman of Empowerment Award.” Patrice’s motto is simple yet powerful “Be inspired to be yourself, Be inspired to empower someone else.” These words not only describe her life, it will one day be the legacy and the message that she leaves behind in the global community. Patrice inspires the millions on a weekly basis with her world-renowned YouTube show Patrice Brantley Show.
Outside of counseling…
I enjoy spending time touring art museums, local galleries, and farmer’s markets.
I love listening to music and performing, writing, reading, volunteering, and watching football.
My education includes a B.S. in Education Florida A & M University as well as an M.S. in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University, in a CACREP accredited program.
My experience includes working for a community mental health agency as a Hospital-based therapist in both Tampa and Dade City for over 7 years, followed by operating my private practice since September of 2022. I have been licensed by the State of Florida as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 2014.
How I can Serve you...
Groups sessions are 30- or 60-minute session where a group of individuals work together using the POWER UP framework and the nine wheels of wellness. The focus is on helping groups of people to overcome life problems and to reignite their passion for life.
